Learning Disabilities Association of Maine’s Healthy Children’s Project
The Learning Disabilities Association of Maine started the Maine Healthy Children's Project in 2003 to address the links between toxic chemicals in the environment and learning disabilities. The project is designed to:
- Assist Maine families in learning more about toxic chemicals and what they can do to protect their families;
- Understand the possible causes of learning and developmental disabilities;
- Help protect the health of all families through education and passing safer chemical policies.
Working together, we can provide a healthy planet, healthy minds, and a healthy future for our children.
