Retailer Campaigns

CHS Logo

The Campaign for Healthier Solutions (CHS), also known as the dollar store campaign, is targeting the 3 major dollar store chains (Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and 99 Cents Only) to urge them to stop selling products with toxic chemicals to communities of color and low-income families, and adopt chemical policies that will protect both customers and their businesses. Combined these discount chains have sales totaling over $36 billion and operate more stores nationally than Walmart. CHS is led by Coming Clean and the Environmental Justice Health Alliance for Chemical Policy Reform.
